Restoring 1C Postgresql from a database dump?

There is a 1C server with PostgreSQL 9.0.3 and pgadmin 3. I set up database backups using third-party software. The basis dump with permission .sql becomes I want to test a backup. I create a database in pgadmin, click Restore, specify the path to the file, he wants a file with .backup permission Choosing a file with .sql permission or if I change the permission to .backup, nothing happens. The restore button is disabled. How to recover from this backup?

@BudNejnee

Set up database backups using third-party software.

I create a database in pgadmin, click restore

And why are you surprised? If you made a backup with third-party software, then they need to restore it. Nobody promised compatibility.
