"Restore Points" in debian?

I read the “UNIX Tutorial” , got on the test server to install bind, then I wanted to raise dhcp on it :)
And the following thought arose: but now I’m messing up, and then I’ll have to reinstall everything from the very beginning, including the axis. How would I make such points, as in windows, so that at any time I could roll back to the “pre-cut” state?

@shadowalone

as noted above, only at the file system level.
And if, simply, then back up all the configs, in 99% they are all in / etc

rsnapshot yet.
In general, “screw up and roll back, and so on 12 times in a row” is a task for a virtual machine.

btrfs snapshots or who else can fs snapshots? Works at the file system level.
