Responsive design grid, which grid is better to create?

Good day to all!
Recently, I started working in sketch, mainly developing websites.
The sketch gives me a default preset when creating a 1440px wide canvas for hd monitors.
Actually the question is: I create a canvas with a width of 1440 pixels, I need to make a column grid on it for adaptive layout, what are the standards? what should be the total grid width? what are the indents along the edges from the grid? how many columns to make, what width and what indents?
Thanks in advance to everyone who decides to participate in this issue.

pay attention to the project https://960.gs/ and why they decided to read
it like that, I'm just setting up two such unfortunate projects where customers look at the result on ... a netbook. and I’m typing on a large full-screen monitor
, I think, can you imagine how different what we see in front of us is.
drawn in the sketch was at 1440, and all 12 columns were full width, and the content fits in 10 columns

The process of creating a grid is very individual, you can customize the grids as you wish, for this, first of all, you need to decide on the content area of the site.
The grid is directly related to the target area, for example the standard for Boostrat 3 is 1170px.
It uses a grid with the following parameters:
In principle, it can be taken as a basis, since it is quite convenient and already with its own template, suitable for most laptop and computer screens. But it is tied to specific numbers, I would not, again, the grid is a very custom thing, design it for different sizes of the content area.
