A step-by- step guide from Yandex
, and although in theory everything should go smoothly, I want to say that there is an experience of losing traffic when moving. Don't dismiss this risk completely.

Losses are and will be real 100% effective method is not.
Over time, the situation becomes less critical, but anyway, it’s too early to talk about the potential safety of this procedure, to put it mildly.
Yandex does not guarantee that there will be no problems when moving within the domain itself.

It is better to leave both domains for some time, for example for a year! The cost is a penny, but no problems. As long as the new name is being indexed, the old links will still work.
