Repair shop at home. What do you need to know and have for this?

Good day.
There was a desire to open a small workshop at home, there are about 18 square meters. m. room, which can be fully allocated for this event.
However, at the same time, I understand that my knowledge is not only not enough for repairs more difficult than resoldering power on a laptop / replacing thermal paste - I have no idea what tools and equipment I will need.
In this regard, I would be very grateful if experienced craftsmen could tell me what smart books I need to read and what equipment I need in order to be able to diagnose a wide range of hardware faults and then be able to fix this fault.
I was also extremely grateful for the list of stores where consumables can be purchased for a reasonable price - there are all sorts of different microcircuits that like to fail, but they have to be taken from somewhere, and perhaps not only on the Internet, but also in the city (in in my case, St. Petersburg), but from where - this is a big question.
Many thanks to everyone who can share their invaluable experience!

First of all, purchase mounting and desoldering equipment, taking into account the features of the boards used in computers, the desoldering pump does not give the desired effect, since the solder completely fills the metallized caps (hole), besides, the board is multilayer, which ensures good heat dissipation, and lead-free refractory solder, you will need a soldering iron is electrically powerful enough and thermodynamically efficient, a soldering station with temperature stabilization is better, and if it’s completely budgetary, it’s better to take an EPSN with a copper tip than a “Chinese” one with a steel tip, secondly, a hot air dryer is needed, an IR preheating table is desirable, and contactless dismantling is used not only for BGA and other SMDs, but also for through-hole elements, thirdly, it is desirable to have an oscilloscope and good multimeters, fourthly, make yourself various "strays" such as diagnostic stands with different voltages and connectors for continuity, fifthly, you need to gain experience working with just such boards (fusible alloys, copper braid, fluxes), draw knowledge from YouTube, including about real problems.

A little offtopic: leave this idea - you don't need it. IMHO always tasks define tools, and not vice versa. If you do not know what you need (a tool) - then you are not ready. All these people who are easily repaired - as a rule, have a specialized (similar) education and significant experience in the profile. And the fact that they say that it's easy - so they show off.
Once again interest -> knowledge -> tools.
