Remove the {content} tag from the main page, but leave it on the rest?

In the template, on the main.tpl page, there is this code:

    {custom category="1,2,3,4,5,11,14,16" navigation="yes" limit="10"}

{content}

Custom is responsible for displaying only the specified categories on the main page, and content is responsible for the normal display of content on other pages. If you remove the content tag from main.tpl, then on the remaining pages there will be no left block with content.
How to leave the content functionality on the rest of the pages, and at the same time disable it on main.tpl?
