Hello. I'm thinking about trying remote work with Europe/USA. Global research has not started yet.
Interested in the experience of colleagues who work/worked with Europe/USA. Just interested in the experience of your friends/acquaintances/enemies. Is there a big difference in terms of money with what it was, working with CIS companies. What are the main differences from "our" companies. Are they really ready to pay many times more for a conditional middle/senior, because, after all, it’s not just that Western companies are looking for a remote specialist (in addition to the cases of the uniqueness of a specialist, it seems to me, mainly, the desire to save money). Is it really worth straining to find a job and is it possible to count on salary many times more than local companies offer? Or is everything indicated relevant only starting from the senior level +?

During this time, there have been positive experiences with the following countries: Australia, USA, Canada, Israel, Norway and even Vietnam and Chile.
The rates in the West are much higher than ours, and they do not believe that if they pay you a lot, then they have the right to squeeze all the juice out of you.
Personally, I know the PHP market quite well. If in Russia an average PHP specialist earns 50,000-150,000 rubles ($5 - $15/hour), then abroad a middle can easily earn $20-30/hour. Senior has $30-60/hour. In Russia, it is even scary to name such amounts out loud - they will not believe it.
Of course, the lower your qualifications, the higher the competition, the more dumping and the more difficult it is to break through in general. Below the middle, I would not advise freelancing.
Found a customer from Europe through the exchange. We have been working for three years.
Zp is really higher, but far from a plane, there is room to grow and now there is an urgent need, although at first it was cool, especially when the dollar rose sharply. Yes, the customer's rate also grows about once a year and a half.
I can’t say specifically about middle seniors - everything is individual. But I think it makes sense to look for luck in the West anyway.
