Remote work platform: windows phone or android?
Good afternoon.
I decided to retrain from the web to mobile developers. The goal is not to write and monetize your own applications, but to work remotely full-time.
ios dropped immediately. very big expenses for the beginning of development are required. I choose between android and win phone.
I am superficially familiar with both java and c#. Personal sympathy is on the side of Windows: I like c # as a language more and not as wild segmentation as in andriod. But the amount of work is somewhat confusing.
I looked at several exchanges - there were a lot of orders on android, but for win phone and one page is not typed. It would seem that the answer is obvious, but it seems to me that I am missing something. After all, those who write under Windows work somewhere.
The question is primarily for those who write for win phone. How is the work for this platform? Are there really so few vacancies or do you need to know where to look?
Sorry for another noob question. There is little free time now and I really don’t want to spend it on something that will not be useful in the future.
Already searched on google. All such questions that I found were asked in the light of my own developments, and not permanent work.

Do not sharpen for a specific platform - write for both. And even better - and with iOS right away. You can practice on the emulator, at least.
Vin background is less common now, so there are fewer orders.
But for example, it will be much easier to create your own product and promote it in a wine background due to less competition and higher requirements for product reviews (not all shit will go to the market).
I think the wine background app market will only increase.
