Relationship of a column to its own primary key?

I want to make a table of positions for myself, where, in addition to everything, the position will have a direct boss who would be connected to the same table of positions. How to do it? Is it possible to bind a foreign key to your own table or would it be better somehow differently and how exactly?
Or is it even possible to somehow improve the hierarchy?
