Registration on rackspace?
Signed up a few days ago on rackspace.com to explore their mail server options.
They wrote that it is necessary to activate the account and they will call within an hour to the phone I indicated (I indicated my Beeline, + 7, etc.). An hour passed - they did not call, they did not call until tonight.
He told his problem in Live chat, the employee asked for full registration data (login, email, full name, phone) and suddenly disappeared. Another appeared, again asked for reg. data and refused to activate the account, to the question "Why?" responded "I can't say for security reasons."
Rackspace is of great interest to me and I don’t want to retreat, I registered again, to the address @gmail.com, without specifying the full name and company, but on the same phone (there is no other cell phone, and the work phone is only through an additional dial or secretary), again not called, but by letter they offered to call them in the States. I'll try to get through tomorrow...
What is it? Weeding out spammers? Dislike for certain states or phone numbers?

Strange, I activated in the winter - they called me literally within five minutes.
I also recently registered, I was also waiting for a call, but in the end they just wrote to the soap that the account was activated, there were no calls.
