Regions and blocks similar to drupal in wordpress
Good afternoon hackers.
Briefly about myself: I am a front-end developer, I recently decided to start learning Wordpress.
At one time I worked with Drupal for a long time, to place anything in it, you can create blocks, which in turn are placed in regions. Subsequently, it was possible to specify in the templates where which block to show.
I would like some similarity in Wordpress, as I understand it, that producing a lot of widgets and blocks in them (content block) is not a very reasonable idea.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? With pleasure I read your opinion or links that you share.
Thank you for your attention.

Didn't work with Drupal.
We divide content into blocks either using shortcodes and/or using casepress.org/kb/web/page-builder-postroitel-stranits-na-wp/
In principle, tacos are possible to make, but not for a beginner.
You can try to implement this using filters.
You can try to dig for templates that have such an implementation (but you need to look for them more :) )
