There was a domain and they didn’t have time to pay for it, everyone was on the road in remote points of Russia, almost without communication and the Internet, the payment deadline and another month passed, the domain was released and, what’s most interesting, it was immediately registered immediately (less than 10 minutes passed), look who registers and according to his data we find out that this is a cybersquatter (we also learn from rumors that he is the owner of 5000 domains, and quite voiced ones), we write a letter and in response we get what he will return for 2.5 thousand bucks, of course we refuse because the name is interesting, but the cat the content of the site was not a fountain and therefore was easily given away ...
A year later, we decided to get confused and check the rumors on the Internet, we buy a domain and start promoting it, we agreed with one construction company that has a rather promoted website, that we make a mirror for their third-party company, the domain was promoted normally, and when we prepared thoroughly, we are waiting for the expiration date of the domain , on the day of payment we do not pay, then a month passes and we monitor ..., do not believe the domain was registered after the end of the full action in 2 minutes !!! and what is most interesting, they immediately hung a stub on it with a message about the sale, we look at the data of who registered and, lo and behold, our friend.
We write a letter and get a response like the domain I will sell for 4.5 thousand bucks, we check the letter, the mailbox is registered in a regular Google, but the sending was from the web console, we break through the ip and then we find out that the ip belongs to nic.ru, we examine the used ip addresses of the company, discard hosting and dns services, as well as other garbage, and finally we achieve the result, the ip address from which the gmail.com web console was accessed was carried out from the nic.ru central office located on Metro Sokol, then it immediately became clear to us that this notorious cybersquatter works in nic.ru or it simply does not exist, and the company itself earns money in this way.
Since then, I know for sure anything but nic.ru...

I've been with reg.ru for over a year. There were no problems. Everything is stable and comfortable. Support responds within 1-3 hours. I didn’t work with nic.ru, but I’m sure the service is similar and worthy of praise.
