Redmine and the change in time zones in Russia, who solved the issue?

Actually subj. We have Redmine 1.2.2, it happily assumes that MSK is UTC+3 instead of the current UTC+4.
In the redmine of the redmine itself, we have a ticket www.redmine.org/issues/9801 put 9 days ago and having the version “Candidate for next minor release”, but the next minor release is still a few months away, but I would like the correct belts now.

And therefore the question is: has anyone already solved this issue or pull their ruby-progers, so that they can see where to fix it?
