Redis-server with TCMALLOC, pros, cons, user experience?

Colleagues who have tried redis-server under load with the TCMALLOC allocator , please share your experience.
Minuses, reefs, strange and inexplicable things are interesting. The fact that this thing is faster can be seen from the graphs. I wonder how it behaves with radishes and is it worth attention or not?

tcmalloc was very helpful for MongoDB 2.0.7 under load on read slaves.
With the standard under load, they went down.
It's definitely worth a try :)
