Reconfiguration of 1C, how is it more correct and less expensive?

Good afternoon! There is a 1C server with 32 gigabytes of RAM, 4 cores of 3.2.
The 1C trading base has a size of 25 gigs. 1C works with file base, access via rdp.
Trade is very slow and the 1C programmer suggested switching from the file version of the database to mySql.
with which many questions appeared:
1) what kind of load will mySql generate (approximately)?
2) what size will mySql database be? (approximately)
Roughly speaking, I want to understand whether moving to mySql will pull the hardware and whether it will be of any use.

1s in mysql!? probably mssql means.... well, or postgresql
With the same configuration, the gain will be significant relative to the file base.
2) what size will mySql database be? (approximately)
consider that the same as the file ... =) the most correct option
is an article on the topic - www.gilev.ru/mssqlvsfile

How many users work with it? Maybe you should switch to a thin client? What disk subsystem is used, is it usually the bottleneck?
