Recommend an engine for an online store

They offer three solutions OpenCart, Joomla VirtueMart and Prestashop, since I am not strong in this, I ask you for advice. What are the advantages of each platform and what are the disadvantages. Or recommend another solution.
Region Ukraina.Internet store of fishing goods. The number of goods is from 4000. There are about 10 categories. The variability of goods and characteristics is large. Payment methods are cash on delivery and a bank payment system.

I really like Opencart in terms of code. Very low entry threshold (if there is an understanding of MVC), modules and plug-ins for it are easily written. And the set of ready-made solutions is quite large.
There is a problem with seo (specifically, URL duplication), but it can be solved by competently installing the necessary plugins and configuring them (usually just seo pro is enough - turns on the NC and removes url duplication).
I have bad memories and impressions about Joomla in general as a CMS.
I didn't have to work with Prestashop.

In order to choose the right platform, you need a more precise task, an understanding of the requirements and goals. As you understand, each platform (and I would add Magento to this list, several solutions based on WordPress, as well as a solution using Ecwid, and even SaaS solutions, of which there are quite a few) has its pros and cons, and the degree of their importance/influence directly depends on the task. If this is not a global store with 1000+ positions, a bunch of sections, etc., then a SaaS platform may be a perfect solution. Moreover, there are Russian / Ukrainian (I don’t know where you are from) local offers that perfectly solve one of the main problems in the development of the store - billings and gateways.
In general, specify the task.

Joomla VirtueMart - no, I speak as a user.
Pay attention to Magento, they say (recommend), a good CMS.
OpenCart - I don't know.
I will expand your circle of choice, Drupal is possible.
Do you need integration with 1C? If so, then there is a specific ...

If the online store is small, then OpenCart; if there are many categories and products, then Prestashop. If you only need an online store, then I would not recommend taking joomla+virtuemart. For interest, to compare, install some kind of web server on the local machine and install openacart and prestashop and try to start a couple of categories, a couple of products, etc.
If you need a professional online store "online supermarket" then I would recommend magento.
If you really have ~4000 products, then prestashop or magento.
