Recommend an Android smartphone. [$300]

Is there anything more or less working in this category or is it worth looking in the other direction?
I know how, for example, Samsung Gio eats up a battery or what glitchy LG sensors are, and so on, so I would like mostly feedback from the owners. Exotic options such as delivery from abroad are accepted, only to fit into this amount all together. ± 10 raccoons.
Oh yes, it's also important that the resolution is standard for android, and not some 240 * 400 or 320 * 240.
I'm not going to play, so phantom parrots are not interested, operational and ergonomic characteristics are more important.
Oh, and also, if someone is aware of emerging promising models, then I'm not in a hurry - I can wait a month or two.

I recommend Sony Ericcson X8

Fits in the price, resolution 320x480, android 2.1, looks stylish, easy to use: the younger brother took one recently.
I myself use SE x10 mini pro, despite the resolution of 240x320 everything works fine what I need. True, I only need to play music and call / sms, so I took it because of the qwerty keyboard. For everything else, there's the Nook Color master card
. I'm looking forward to the new SE xperia mini pro, with a slightly larger screen and also a qwerty keyboard.

Well, if you don't want Samsung or LG, but you need a high resolution, etc., etc., take clove, for example, HTC Desire - I think invest in 300 greens now.
PS Personally, I use HTC Wildfire - if games are not needed, then its resolution does not interfere with anything (I did not find any application, except for games that do not work with this resolution). Everything else is excellent: power consumption is less, the assembly is excellent, nothing slows down, especially HTC, IMHO.
