Actually, I would like to see English translations. words in the browser (opera) in a pop-up window, by pressing, for example, ctrl over a word,

can you advise something similar, tested and preferably free for Linux Fedora 14?

Try GoldenDict . Supports Lingua, Babylon and StarDict dictionary formats. There are binaries for Fedora in third-party repositories, but it is better to collect them from sorts.

There is such a plugin for Opera addons.opera.com/addons/extensions/details/translator/0.4-c/?display=en . There are similar ones in the search for extensions.
