Recommend a pure javascript touch slider (no jQuery)?
I can't find a normal touch slider without a jQuery dependency.
The client asked to use a popular slider with good documentation like Slick or Swiper but they require JQuery. Connecting jQuery to a simple and lightweight site because of one slider is somehow not comme il faut (yes, they weigh decently by themselves).
I searched on github for "slider" and "carousel" requests - I found a couple of relatively suitable ones with a description of the API.
Namely: Swipe (fork) and Flickity .
Relatively because Swipe is abandoned by the author, and the fork is also somehow not updated, and it works crookedly on the full screen, which is a pity - it weighs only 6Kb. The second one is also not bad, but the size of 53 Kb is a bit too much for a simple slider.
If you don’t recommend anything suitable, I’ll probably stop at Flickity.

Swiper is available without the jQuery dependency, but I recommend Peppermint.js , lightweight and fast
