Recommend a programming book

I really want to recommend the book to a person who recently started programming. Can anyone suggest a high-quality and interesting book on programming in C ++, where there are many useful algorithms and practical tasks. It is desirable that it is not difficult, but pleasant and interesting to read with the opportunity to try everything in practice.

If you find McConnell's "Perfect Code" somewhere, the guy will remember you with a kind word for the rest of his life. Even if it will not be written in C++. Another good book is "Using C++ Effectively" by Myers. It can still be found. Only you need one with 50+ tips, not ~30 - this is a sequel.

Many agree that Deitel's best book. How to Program in C++ . But in my opinion definitely the best Shieldt. The Art of C++ Programming .

I would also recommend the book "Object-Oriented Programming in C++" by Robert Laforet .
It is quite lively and clearly written. There are questions and exercises at the end of the chapters.
It is also recommended here

Forget C++ and give the man SICP. If he is a beginner, then he needs a book on programming, and not on any particular language or algorithms.
