recommend a debugging proxy

requirements:
under *nix
, it is desirable to use the console version
setting the input and output ports
logging the exchange in both directions
binary traffic

PS I can write it myself, but I don’t want to reinvent the wheel

I advise Paros Proxy , written in Java, you can log, interrupt, change requests / responses. There are other console / browser, but this is the most convenient

Not exactly a console, but a very powerful tool with a lot of traffic selection criteria - Wireshark. Describes various fields of packets, knows many protocols.
