Reading scales (COM port) in a web application?

There is a web application (datatables, mysql) for accounting, and there are scales with desktop software and drivers. How can I transfer data from scales to the web? where to look..

See what you need. If the balance is connected to a client computer, then you need a browser plug-in or a separate local mini-server from which you can request data. If you can connect to the main server, directly or via COM-to-Ethernet, then PHP can work with the COM port.
The protocol for the exchange with scales must be found in the documentation for a specific model.
