React and node js do you need a node server?

Good afternoon! This may seem like a dumb question to some, but React runs its own localHost , do I need to run Node js localHost for the same entry in MySql? Or can they be combined somehow? what would they work on the same host?

React starts the server for development, if you build the build with the npm run build command, there will be static, you can use it in php and hook it up to the node. Read the documentation carefully.
