RAM compatibility issue. Are there any comments or advice?

Hey! I have little experience in upgrading my own hardware, so in order not to shove like a bull, I would like to know the opinion of others, you never know.
The point is simple. I want to increase the RAM in the system unit. I now have an ASUS PRIME B250M-PLUS motherboard (Socket 1151, Intel B250, 4xDDR4, USB3.0, Type-C, VGA, DVI, HDMI, mATX)
And it has 2 8 GB RAM boards (RAM 16Gb DDR4 2400MHz Patriot Signature (PSD416G2400K) (2x8Gb KIT))
Since this one is no longer sold .... you need to buy something new. And from here:
1. Will it be normal if I buy 2 new ones similar in terms of performance characteristics and insert them into free places (since at first for some reason I just wanted to take 1 board for 16 GB ... then I remembered that you can’t do this)
2. Advise decent brands and, if possible, leave the links of the RAM to chain stores, which would normally go
3. What should I pay attention to when buying? (same overclocking, frequency...?)
4. The most interesting thing is CL. I now have CAS Latency (CL) = 16. When choosing a new one, do I need CL to be the same? Or let it be less/more. Please provide as detailed an answer to this as possible.
5. And one more question... When I looked at the RAM... many are now a kind of "radiator". so here. Will it fit into my motherboard?

take any two more (the cheapest) at 8GB 2400MHz, it's
good if the timings are 16 (less = better, but there are none), take 17 is not critical,
and the radiators are from the evil one))) to dilute the buyer for extra dollars.

1. Normal, but it's better to buy a kit for 32, and sell the old one.
2. There are many brands, but there are enough chip manufacturers to count the fingers on one hand.
3. On the frequency + timings.
4. Should be the same. In the instructions for m / b ASUS PRIME B250M-PLUS, this is written.
5. The radiator sometimes "conflicts" with the cooler. We need to think about the size in advance.
