Quick learning: what resources would you recommend?

Source: oops, c++ (not production), some java.
Task: to automate authorization and registration tests.
Ambushes: Java - quite a bit (fortunately, it's C++-like), 4 days.
While habr and Google I read, but I'm not sure that this is a productive option. Maybe there are guides for beginners?
