Questions to the administration / developers of VK?
Friends, tell me, is there any more or less effective way to reach out to the administration and / or developers of VKontakte? I'm mainly interested in those guys who are engaged in public API for applications. Maybe there is an opportunity to talk directly on Habré?
Why do I need it? Basically, in order to clarify the sea of questions on the philosophy of the API, to discuss controversial issues on certain decisions being made, or simply to find out what innovations are planned and where the whole project is heading. In my humble opinion, an API is such a thing that simply, by definition, cannot be developed behind closed doors at a distance of a hundred light years from its end users - developers. Yes, I know that there is an open tracker and support, but I want some normal live communication. In the end, we do one thing =) In addition, tickets in the tracker often frankly hang idle. I don’t know why: I don’t have the strength to close them or the desire.

The usual REST apishka, which can be discussed here in essence. The documentation contains links to various developer communities, changelogs, where you can also try to ask the developers something.
ps The API is part of the service, but it's impossible to please everyone. There are generally accepted standards that VK just follows. There are no special bikes.
Vasily Babich is a fairly open guy, Grisha Klyushnikov is an Android application developer. But I don't think it makes sense to write to them. How many like you? Once I looked into some official development group, someone answered there, but I don’t remember the name.
PS Vasily sometimes appears at parkourcity trainings, but this is infa only if you need to know something, bloody nose.
I would not advise making plans for the year. As history shows, VK can easily change anything, for example, remove the wall or take all the pigs from the farm, or start running over policemen who are preventing you from passing through, and you will not do anything. You will spend a bunch of man-months, and tomorrow they will remove the function from the API and you will be left with a nose. The only thing is, if you are a large application, you can get some special conditions.
