Questions about geth?

Hello. I rarely ask questions here, usually Google is enough, but not this time.
1. How to get a list of transactions of your accounts in geth on Linux?
2. Launched geth, synchronization is in progress. I created a geth account new account, made a transfer to it, but nothing came (quite a lot of time passed), eth.getBalance returns 0. What could be the problem?

1. See documentation it should be somewhere near "geth account new"
2. network is slow. see transactions. in addition to the fact that the transaction must go away, it must be confirmed by the participants - this is where it takes a long time.
