Suggest to the customer, while you are typing, to make a test payment for 6000-7000 rubles.
Say what you want to make sure how accurately he pays, and what quality his rubles are.
I always do this.
See what the job is. Put some kind of watermark, if it's working with graphics. If this is code, please provide the compiled part or show the work on your hosting if php. When answering why this is so, say that "this is still a test task"
If I understand that the test task is more like a real task, then I don’t do it or I ask for payment. If the test is normal, for me it’s a maximum of 30-40 minutes (I don’t see the point in spending more time), then you can do it.
It depends on what the customer is testing and under what conditions. If something takes more than 15 minutes and for "thank you" - it's better to let them look for suckers elsewhere.
I don’t see any point in test tasks if they are not real work.
Yes, I pay them in general when you want to test a person, you probably don’t want to pay for tests, it’s enough to study the person’s profile in the context of the last three years, if everything is fine with the customer over this period, then it’s logical that you need to complete his test and work with him for another 10 years spending time looking for new customers.
If I take on a test task, then first of all I think that I will add it to my portfolio. This is the main profit for me, and then how it goes.
