Question about semantics and optimization for search engines?

Hello!
I am creating a personal blog using jekyll. So that the semantics does not spoil the indexing, I make up all the blocks following the specification. But since, unfortunately, there is no knowledge about how the search engine reacts to tags, several questions have arisen:
1) Should the preview for the post be correctly formatted in the article tag?
2) On the post page, all content in article. But I also need to display, say, 2 thumbnails of similar posts on the page, where is it better to do this? In the article itself?
3) What to read on this topic? Preferably with live examples.
Thanks

@lavezzi1

1) No, the article itself should be in this tag
2) It doesn't matter, your search engines will still index everything, regardless of whether it is in the article or not.
It 's better to read here https://yandex.ru/support/webmaster/recommendation... well, go over the sections from the left menu of this page.
