Question about good literature on java?

Read Learn Java by Katty Sierra.
I wanted to ask what literature to read further than the java 8 shield or start with java 7? Or even read the philosophy of java?

Much of the knowledge from the Java2 books is still relevant, not to mention Java7, but it's best to choose books that are as recent as possible. In particular, the 4th edition of Eckel's Java Philosophy was released in 2015. And the textbook itself is pretty good. However, Schildt's "Java 8 Complete Guide" is no worse.

To be honest, reading is garbage, if you have a great desire, you take everything and immediately practice.
I did this, I only read the documentation, and then not all of it, I don’t like to fill my head with meaningless book descriptions.
I have been writing in Java for 3 years now, and the results are really amazing!

I would of course advise you to read the Java 8 Beginner's Guide first. But, if you want to speculate (philosophize), you can dive into Java philosophy.
