Question about auto-detection of finding IP by the browser?

Good day.
I am in Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region. And Google understands this, on the general search page (when it gives out search results) at the bottom it writes correctly "Your location is Blagoveshchensk". But when I go to some site, for example, an online store with delivery, Vladivostok or, less often, Khabarovsk is automatically selected by my IP. Also, the 2ip site locates my location as Vladivostok. What kind of nonsense? Why is that?
Provider - MTS. Maybe because the main office is in Vladivostok?

Because he was so answered by the service that the site uses. There are different services that determine the region by IP with different accuracy and as it is written in it, it will give an answer. The larger the city, the greater the chance that it will be guessed correctly, the smaller - so, of course, less.
