QT under Ubuntu cannot find -lGL ?

Clean Ubuntu 14.04
Installed the latest version of QT via the online installer.
When starting/compiling even an empty project (Qwidget), it gives:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lGL
in this noob, help pliz. with ubuntu 12.04 the same garbage

sudo apt-get install "^libxcb.*" libx11-xcb-dev libglu1-mesa-dev libxrender-dev
