Suppose, in some place of the form, it is necessary to show either a checkbox, or a combobox, or a hole. Those components that are under the hole should not move anywhere. What component to use for this?

Of course, you want something weird, but QStackedWidget with fixed sizes is at your service.

Используйте QWidget или QFrame. И через layout вставляйте в него тот виджет который вам нужен в определенный момент, а не нужный удаляйте.
