QNAP NAS web interface. What is the technology?

I bought a QNAP server for my office. And he has a very interesting web interface, with a twist under the operating system. It is clearly visible that this is Linux, but it is not clear whether this is a web imitation of the Linux interface or a real tench tucked into the web. Who knows how it is implemented?

A kind of cropped Webmin. Inside QNAP is an ordinary nix, with its own packages, repository and blackjack.
