QA Automation or Dev?

During the first course, I studied Java and, by the will of fate, I was taken to the post of QA Automation. Now the question is: how to manage to develop further and where to develop? Grow in terms of qa automation or switch to dev and how? Always drawn more to development. What can you advise in terms of career growth and moving abroad?

QA automation is such an under dev? If so, then of course you need to go higher.
In my understanding, it's all the same. It's all a programmer.
