Python scripts are very slow. Can you help?

Recently reinstalled Windows 10 home. The antivirus is from Microsoft, namely Windows Defender. Why am I talking about antivirus at all? Because when I went to the Pycharm IDE, I found a "warning" that Windows Defender is limiting the speed of the application. Fortunately, everything was done with a simple button under this warning "fix".
Therefore, I assume that it is Window Defender that may be the culprit for the slow operation of scripts. If so, how can I whitelist Python on Windows Defendar?

Windows Defender limits the speed of the application.

What application? Paycharma or Piston.exe?
In any case, add both (both the interpreter and the IDE) to exceptions like this .
