Python & closed source?

Actually, the subject: is it possible to distribute a project written in Python with a closed source code? (for example, "compile" with py2exe, but do not upload the code) What license is suitable for this?
PS The project must be Freeware.
PPS If I have some kind of mess in my head (judging by the question), please explain everything on the shelves.

Here is the Python license FAQ . In short - yes, it is not necessary to open the code, but you need to keep copyrights in the code and attach a copy of the Python license; when referring to Python in documentation, use ® and indicate that it is the mark of the Python Software Foundation.
There is no generally accepted license for closed-source freeware, write from yourself :) Well, or here they suggest using CC-BY-NC , although CC is usually not used for software.
