.py files older than 2.7 won't run in MVStudio?

Hello! Can you please tell me how to get started with .py files in MVS?
Installed version 3.5, however, code highlighting and compilation are only possible when the environment is set to version 2.7, with 3.5 it gives an error

Code for Python 2.5+ is not compatible with code for 3+
