Pxelinux: How to boot Windows PE over the network?
Hello!
There is a LAN running a Debian based server with isc-dhcp-server and tftpd-hpa.
The fact is that you need to download Windows PE over the network - you downloaded a ready-made assembly, because. I can't set it up properly on my own.
Naturally, you need to use memdisk in this case.
Some images include the GRUB bootloader, which passes control to the Windows bootloader - this is more complicated, the Windows bootloader cannot find any files it needs.
But the main problem is that the loaded Windows PE cannot find the partition with data and drivers (when we boot, for example, from a USB flash drive, in addition to the ramdisk, the OS also has a partition with data), but the image is in memory !
How can I make Windows "see" this data?
Thank you.
