Psychology of behavior. Literature?

Good afternoon everyone!

I've always been interested in how things work. At work, I understand how the windows kernel works, and lately I have been very interested in how a person works. And how does its behavioral function work, i.e. how he makes decisions, what motivates him, whether it can be influenced and from what sides, etc. Perhaps the question is a little inappropriate for such a resource, but is there any literature on this direction?

Thank you all in advance for your replies.

I’ll add here the posts of this habrauser: habrahabr.ru/users/frozenhand/topics/
And the book hs2.me
Also interesting is “Another Chemistry” by Denis Burkhaev
From the same opera “We are all from a terrible childhood”
“7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Kovi
For starters, I think that's enough - start to delve into it - life itself will still throw books :)

"Influence Psychologist" Robert Cialdini
Many specific examples of how a person makes a choice (often subconsciously), how others use it (including for selfish purposes), how you can control your behavior when you get into such a situation, and how to use these techniques to achieving specific goals.
It's very easy to read and highly recommended for human understanding.

You can read Eric Burne and Freud, for example. The works of these people are somehow similar to science. Unlike many others. In these works, you are unlikely to find a way to manipulate, but perhaps you will get ideas on how to do this with a specific person known to you .

All books on social psychology: Cialdini, Ekman, Fexeus and many others.
A lot of specialized applied literature is published in "Mann, Ivanov and Fiber", such as "I hear you through" or Bernadsky's "Selling texts ..."
I would also recommend Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged", but there is an interesting 5%, but these 5% is worth it, IMHO.

There is a lot of literature on psychology, but it seems to me that reading theoretical information should be combined with practical research, for example, observing the behavior and analyzing subjects in the natural environment, otherwise it is useless.

Dan Ariely "Positive Irrationality" and "Predictable Irrationality". Writes about behavioral economics. I would also recommend watching the video of his performance in Digital October.
