Proxies in the USA for purchases on Steam
Quite recently it dawned on me that, it turns out, quite a large part of the Steam assortment is not available in Russia. Let's say, at one time I somehow bought both parts of Max Payne from them, and now they are "unavailable in your region" (although they are in the list of purchased games and are installed normally). Or now children want to play Stalker, but only Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat are on Steam from Russia, and the original Shadow of Chernobyl is also unavailable .
My understanding is that this restriction could be bypassed by purchasing the game from their store (say as a gift) through a US proxy. The problem is finding a proxy. We need HTTP POST support and probably SSL. It is difficult to search for a proxy on Google, because there are a lot of suspicious sites, and it is not clear how to choose. A paid service also suits, but preferably inexpensive, because it is no longer needed for anything.

There are plenty of options on the net:
proxy-list.org
www.proxybox.ru/proxy_private_usa.htm
www.proxy-base.org/
The second current option for $.
The first one can really issue an American proxy for free.
The third - well, in general, they mainly spread the ranges there ... but rummaging through the forum, you can also find "for this".
There is also a problem with payment. My German credit cards and Paypal did not work for me.
The Steam user agreement prohibits buying games through a proxy. Do not play with fire, otherwise the account, along with all the content, will be blocked.
If you don’t have the strength to play the game, then find a friend in the states and ask him to give you this game.
