Provider "facebook inc." in Google Analytics - what is it?
A strange provider appeared in the Google analytics "facebook inc."
Never met before, and now hundreds of transitions.
There was an assumption that these were meta-information requests during sharing, but no, the entrance through the main page and then interactions like a regular user.
And even more interesting and mysterious is that these are transitions not from a link and not even from a search engine.
Has anyone encountered a similar phenomenon?
The only thing I could google on this topic: Google Analytics: service provider facebook inc.
Perhaps Facebook will soon launch its own Google Facebook Fiber?
PS resource "attacked" by Facebook: PhotoNow

Perhaps this is the corporate network of Facebook.
Did you by any chance mention your resource in your resume? :)
There was a similar situation this weekend (more precisely, from August 11 to 13) - advertising on FB was stopped, but the traffic was going, over a thousand, though 100% of failures in 1-3 seconds. visits.
Most likely an ad moderation service. They probably taught the robot to execute javascript or simulate a human transition.
