Prospects for the GO language?

They offer a job to get a GO programmer. Only today I heard about him for the first time, I didn’t read much. I want to hear comments from GO developers about this language, is this language difficult? , is it possible to freelance on it, how much does a programmer of this language get and what are the prospects for GO?

1) Language is nowhere easier . Actually, they began to develop it as a human replacement for pluses .
2) A huge number of libraries, any task can be solved on it right now.
3) Speed and compilability.
That's why I personally (and not only me, as it turned out) consider it the best "general" programming language today, it is Go that should be taught in schools instead of Pascal. It is easy to understand and rigorous like Pascal, yet applied like Python. Here is proof: Go as the first programming language for schoolchildren
p.s. the answer is not to the topic starter, but to all programmers who read it. Topikstarter is clearly not a programmer and is not going to be one.

There are practically no freelance orders for Go, as, in fact, there are no vacancies for a pure Go developer, mostly a Python / Go bundle is required. Judging by the fact that such large companies as Yandex and Mail.ru actively use it, the language definitely has prospects.

I believe that the language has prospects. Go's main niche is web applications. Instead of a set of scripts, one web server file is obtained. From this point of view, there is no point in making comparisons, for example, with PHP. This is more of a node.js competitor.
Try for yourself to solve some problem in Go and you will understand everything. If you don’t like it, then it’s not yours, but at first, something will probably “enrage” in the language.

Don't get involved in this adventure.
The language is good, but it was created for managers to optimize development costs.
The language allows you to write code in only one style, and this plays into the hands of companies that keep a staff of cheap developers. If you ask for a pay raise, you will be fired because they can find another cheap developer

is this language difficult?

As a person who had previously written in C ++ and python, this language seemed to me nowhere easier. The specification for the entire language is read in one day, and after 3-5 days of experimentation, it is already possible to write acceptable code. Simplicity also turns into another plus - the source code of other people's projects is easy to read and understand. Unlike the same python where the metaclass is on the metaclass and is wrapped in a decorator :). Understanding the flow of a program can be problematic.

About the complexity of the language.
I 'll just leave this here.

Well, as I understand it, it competes with Rust, D i.e. one of these 3 languages will become the new C++ (very arbitrary) but which one? Behind GO google stands what is not bad for Rust Mozilla.

The language is simple, with a number of interesting features. I advise you to try to make some app on it, at least for the sake of broadening your horizons. Freelancing on it is unlikely to succeed, there are very few orders.
