Proprietary firewood Nvidia. Is it worth it?

There is some need for proprietary nvidia drivers (well, some games don't work very well).
There are several questions about this:
1. Is it worth it? Are there any significant advantages and what are they?
2. What are the problems when installing them?
PS The specifications are as follows:
Debian 8 amd64
Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670

If you need for games, then put it.
There are a couple of hundred instructions for installing in Debian GNU/Linux, install any of them, everything gets up and running fine.

God. Nefiga your mess in my head. Proprietary means closed source. And no more. They let you use it without any conditions. And let your cockroaches in your head decide whether you need the source code or not. But something I doubt that you looked at the source code at least something under Linux.
