Proper connection of Led RGB ws2811 to Arduino?

Please help me solve one small problem.
There are two segments of the ws2811 RGB tape 220 cm each. I connect them together plus to plus, minus to minus, date to date and then I send it to arduino in this way:
two data cables connected to pin 8 ground connected to Arduino ground , I send 12 volts interconnected to a 12 volt power source, everything seems to work well, but only for an hour or two (approximately) then it goes out and nothing works, you need to turn off the power from the Arduino and from the rgb tape, in other words, turn off the power and turn on the power back In order for something to work, I ask you very much to help me please solve this problem.

Are the wires to the ribbons long?
In general, tapes must have an output for cascading.

Here you need to look for the cause of the hang. Either the cause is in the Arduino, or the cause is in the tape controller.
