project management?

Hello, habranarod.

I work as a C/C++ developer. Also, I am responsible for one interesting project (development by order for the "West"). Since the company is small, project management in my case comes down to a little coordination of Win / Web departments and timely reports to the customer - what has been done, what is being done, what will be done in the near future.

But I'm interested in the very idea of Project Management! I hope someday I will move away from coding and completely surrender to this particular direction in IT.

Please advise some books, blogs… Well, in general, what is the best way to start delving into this area?

Thank you.
