Program for video recording from IP cameras
Good day.
Maybe someone came across a free professional version of software for video surveillance. The remnants of the previous tenants remained in the new office: 10 IP video cameras (MPEG4) but did not leave the video server. Slowly I select a softinka to collect streams from 10 cameras and store them.
It is optimal if the software will make it possible to view the video in the perspective of time, motion detection and other "goodies".
The solution can be either Win32 or *nix

on *nix - motion, zoneminder (I set up motion at home for 2 cameras, one analog, the second IP)
on Win - DVR (NVR) Server (DVR Server is at work - recording from 25 analog cameras)
I have one of the articles just about this, read it, maybe it will help.
Synology:

This is of course not a program, but a ready-made NAS.
Just need to check if the camera model is supported.
And camera licenses will have to be bought
I've been using WebcamXP
for a long time
. It has flaws, it's more for home use and not everything can be configured. But I have tried a lot of things over the past 3 years, but I always come back to it.
