Good afternoon. On one of the projects, we encountered a problem with the "Share" button from Vkontakte. When you click on it in the preview of sending to Vkontakte, hosting advertising is displayed instead of a description of the material and pictures. We checked the page on another hosting - everything works. We wrote in support of Vkontakte, they answered us:

It makes sense to check if there are any restrictions on processing requests from our robot on the side of your server or hosting.
The call comes from the following user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; vkShare; + vk.com/dev/Share)

Has anyone come across this situation or can tell me how to perform this check?

Support VKontakte for more than a year fooled my nerves with the same issue and did not solve it.
Are you using the vk provided widget? I mean, I had the same problems all the time until I abandoned their widget and implemented my own button.
