Problems with folder permissions when transferring a site to another hosting?

Good afternoon!

Our company has several sites that were previously located on their hosting. Several sites on Bitrix, several on Joomla. We recently moved all sites to French servers.
After that, problems began with adding pictures, materials in Bitrix, in Joomla. It was even impossible to clear the cache through the Bitrix admin panel.
But as I understand it, usually the rights to folders are set to 0755, and on other servers with such rights everything works fine. Here, for the cms to work correctly, you have to set the rights to almost all folders to at least 0777. Are
these hosting features or did we transfer something incorrectly?

Take a close look at the permissions
and see
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bitrix bitrix 17857 Jan 9 16:36 index.html
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 17857 Jan 9 16:36 index.htm
Take a close look at text.
The command is very fast so if you type "." instead of the full path, that is, a chance to throw off all the owners of the server in a few seconds, thereby rendering it unusable. So if you have such easy questions always using chown write the full path to the directory.
What happened in your case.
If you set 604, then you didn’t hit 6 because your user simply didn’t fit, moreover, you didn’t get into the trusted group, if the user didn’t match by a miracle, you ended up in “everyone else”, that is, 4
