Problem with z-index, how to make an element "on top"?

Hey!
To convey the meaning of the problem, it seems to me only a picture.

That is, I have a radio player and buttons from the sharethis.com service.

I vaguely understand that I need to change the z-index somewhere, but no matter how I twist it, it doesn’t work. Or I'm on the wrong track altogether.
